Rob was born in Baltimore, Maryland and split his childhood between Massachusetts and Baltimore during the years his father, Mark Belanger, played shortstop for the Baltimore Orioles. After Mark's death from lung cancer in 1998, Rob co-founded the 
Belanger-Federico Foundation/Cool Kids Campaign to honor the memory of his father and help those who lives are affected by cancer, Rob played baseball for Towson University in Maryland, graduating in 1992 with a degree in Sports Management. Chris's mom, Susannah, died in 1995 from leukemia, which motivated Chris to co-found this Foundation to help others inflicted with cancer. One day the doctors told Susannah Federico she had six weeks to live. "Not enough," she told them, "that's not going to be enough time, there's just too much to do." Fourteen months later at age sixty-six, her yearlong battle with leukemia ended. She was a woman in love with her family and the world. Sharon is a co-founder of the Cool Kids Campaign. Her interest in helping others grew after her experience as General Coordinator of Annie's Playground, a volunteer playground project in Fallston, MD. Sharon graduated from University of Baltimore with a degree in Corporate Communications. She lives in the Baltimore area with her three kids. Contact Sharon.
Kimmie is a co-founder of the Cool Kids Campaign. She is a World and National Champion Figure Skater who was drawn to help children living with cancer after losing two friends to cancer at a young age. Kimmie splits her time between college, her skate training and helping to develop programs for Cool Kids Campaign.
